BSc Accounting (Top Up)

They provide the management with the necessary information to drive effective change which includes planning, decision making and control. In order to successfully carry out all activities of an accountant, you will be need to understand the practical techniques involved and analyse the accounting and finance theory, from all perspectives.

English Language Requirements

This programme may require students to demonstrate proficiency in English. A credit pass in English language in SSCE or equivalent is recommneded.

General Requirements

One of the following:

  • A Higher National Diploma (HND) or equivalent (Edexcel, ABE, NCC) or 3rd class Degree in a related field. Alternatively, applicants must hold professional qualifications up to level 5 such as AIA, IFA, ICAN, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • International students with Higher Diplomas or degrees from their own country will be considered.
  • The EduQual Diploma in Business Management (Accounting and Finance – (SCQF, Level 8) is also accepted as an entry pathway for this programme.
  • Specific credit in relation to pre-requisite modules will be determined as part of the module selection process.
